When I started working with YQL Nutrition I was exercising (a lot) with no results: in fact, I was gaining weight, injured, tired and just overwhelmed with life. “I signed up with YQL to improve my body composition to feel more confident, learn more about nutrition, improve my athletic performance and build strength to improve my lifts for Kettlebell sport competitions. I was training extremely hard but wasn't noticing any results within my body composition, was having a difficult time building muscle, had tried all the FAD diets (Keto, intermittent fasting, Whole 30) and wasn't having any success. When I started I began to notice immediate results on the scale, in my measurements and in my photos.
Not once during my body recomposition phase did I feel restricted to what I could eat, nor was I ever hungry! My confidence, which has been a shift in mindset which is a continual process, increased making me feel absolutely amazing on my wedding day! Now that I have shifted into the reverse phase, building back to maintenance calories, I am focused on building muscle and strength and improving my athletic performance and not worried about the number on the scale! "I started working with YQL Nutrition because I was unable to fit pants of any size without them rolling down.. I always thought that abdominal pain, dyspepsia and bloating were all just a normal part of my life. When my nutrition coach suggested I try an elimination diet, I was very reluctant at first. I wasn't sure if my love of food was worth being restricted. I also was stumped as to what healthy foods I was able to eat. My coach was so good at listening to my thoughts, limitations and fears. She gave me the tools to eliminate the foods methodically, giving me guidance and ideas of what to eat in the meantime. I was SO surprised at my results!!! I had no idea what I had been missing all along. I no longer was bloated, my belly felt flat, I had way more energy for being a mom, for work and at the gym and I had the best sleeps of my life! “When I started working with YQL Nutrition I was not in a great place. I was experiencing major brain fog nearly all the time, was super irritable, impatient with my family, mad at the world, and feeling lethargic & “not well” nearly all of the time.
